install issues on an old IBM machine
« on: June 29, 2018, 12:23:29 AM »
When I boot to plop boot manager select usb i get the message [      1.877050] ---[ end kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown -block(0.0).

The PC specs are,
Memory 2.0 Gib,
Processor Intel Pentium  4 CPU 2.80GHz,
Graphics Intel 865G is BIOS Presenting as Gallium 0.4 on lvmpipe (LLVM 3.6, 128 bits) in detials,
Disks IDE 40 GiB Master 60 GiB Slave.
I have installed Pearl Mate on my two other machines and it is by far my favorite. I would love to get this old clunker up and running so all three have the same OS.

Thanks for all the good work,
Rain
